On Thursday, September 14, 2017, clients, board members, staff and volunteers participated in a bicycling event hosted by Thrivent Charities.   The clients and staff enjoyed the picnic and bicycling event at Magnuson Park in Seattle, WA.

Sunday afternoon, May 7, 2017, a volunteer work team organized by a parent of a Greenwood Home resident gathered to clean up the Greenwood grounds and spread mulch to beautify garden areas.  Volunteers included family, friends, and employees.  Funding for the mulch for this project was secured from grant monies secured from Thrivent Financial’s “Action Team” program as well as from Greenwood sources.  Volunteers raked, hoed, and hauled debris.  No Seattle rain fell during the project and a good time was had by all!
